Muslim girl accommodation (bath) +isoc

Hello,
I was just wondering if there is single-sex accommodation at bath
(for obvious reasons, that would probably the most comfortable to me lol)

and I was also wondering how is the social life at bath, not in terms of partying in such, but are the people there fun?
What kind of atmosphere is there? Is it still fun or is it totally academic and serious?
Also how is the ISOC society there? Is it also fun and interactive, I've seen tiktoks of how lit and interacting the ISOC societies are at KCL and UCL, is it similar?

Also how diverse would you consider it to be (considering the fact I'm from London which is quite diverse)? would there be people similar to me?
Bengali Muslim?

If you have answers to any one of these questions that would e helpful, and if they are as honest as possible I would really appreciate it
Hello,

Hope you're doing well and thank you for the questions.

On single sex accommodation, yes this is certainly available and can be easily requested during the accommodation application process. There is a little more detail here: https://www.bath.ac.uk/student-accommodation/choose-your-undergraduate-student-accommodation-options/.

The social life at Bath is great. As a mid-sized compact campus university, there is a great community feeling. The university is very diverse, with 32% of students coming from outside the UK representing 147 nationalities. People socialise with all sorts of different groups, be it flatmates, course mates, society friends, sports team members, and more. There are so many different ways to meet people, so it's easy to socialise with likeminded students both on campus and in Bath. I'd describe the atmosphere as a good mix between work and socialising - everyone has their own work to do, and there can be increased workloads at certain times of year. But away from exams and deadline points, everyone typically finds time to socialise and have a good time.

Bath ISOC is one of the many societies that you are welcome to join at Bath. You can find out more about ISOC, including their social media links, here: https://www.thesubath.com/buis/. On this page, you can also see the ISOC Committee email address (this will be current students who lead the society). I'm sure they'd happily answer any specific questions that you have, and give more insight into the society itself.

I hope this is helpful, and please do ask if you have any other questions.
