medication vs therapy

what do you, personally, think is better for mental health- medication or therapy?

If you have had any other treatments that you think have been better please comment below
Meds defo. I wish I started mine sooner! But in my experience doctors here aren’t that good, mainly gps and psychiatrists coz the others are brilliant. So I visited a doctor abroad who’s such a lovely lovely woman that really cares about patients mental health!
A combination of both. Medication can help restore a normal sleep pattern and reduce anxiety attacks, but it won't help the patient get to the bottom of their problems, or help them understand that they can't change the world or their past, but need to develope coping mechanisms for living with both.
Both. Medication reduces symptoms and enables functioning whereas therapy gets to the root of the problem and helps people deal with their life more effectively.
