Can I request for a certain set of mocks to not be used for my teacher assessed grade in my GCSE (2022) if TAGs become a thing? Would I require a legitimate reason?
Also, what should I do if I do not do good enough on my mocks for my intended sixth form and (commonly asked) how likely are TAGs?

I think it depends on your relationship with said teacher.
If you did a set of mocks that you didn't do so well on, but later on did another mock and it went really well, then you should be able to request that the new ones be used as they show improvement of grades. It would definitely help to ask nicely & moreover a good relationship with the teacher you'd be asking.
