1. What is your intended major, if you know?
English Literature.
2. Did you apply anywhere early, if so, where?
Yale REA. Definitely not getting in (they never even approved my NCP Waiver), but I'm proud of myself for going for something I've wanted since I was 8!
3. Where are you applying in the regular round?
Unfortunately, I have very little time to work on Regular Round essays, so my list has narrowed down a lot from what it was originally. Currently, it's: Cornell (essay finished); Colgate (essays finished); Columbia (essays pending); Middlebury (no essays); Colby (no essays); Smith (need to start essays); Wellesley (need to start essays), and possibly Amherst. I'm really into small, New England Liberal Arts Colleges (and just New England in general!)
4. How have you found the US application process?
I've been lucky enough to receive a lot more support throughout the process than many people, which I'm incredibly grateful for. It's been a period of self-doubt and hardship, but I'm happy to have been given the opportunity to explore options outside of the UK. I think the worst part for me was definitely applying for financial aid. My mum didn't really have a stable job when I was filling in the CSS profile, so it was difficult to find a sufficient equivalent to the P60.
5. Anything else you wanna talk about?
To anyone else applying to uni (US, UK, etc.), I wish you the best of luck! No matter the outcome, you're a brilliant and extremely talented individual!
