Not sure on the details of the citation but in a moot would you not just say: "Lefkowitz and Great Minneapolis Surplus Store"?
Apparently not.

Suite yourself, but criminal cases are spoken as "Crown against X" and civil cases are spoken "X and Y". As the case in question is a civil case, it should be spoken as such.
Yes, of course. But that wasn't my question. I want to know what the citation stands for. Not what the "v" stands for in a civil case!

"Your Honour, might I refer you to the authority of Lefkowitz and Great Minneapolis Store Incorporated? This is a decision of Justice Murphy in the Minnesota Supreme Court in 1957 and can be found in Volume 86 of the North Western Reporter, Second Series at page 689."
Many thanks, Chalks.

It's been ten years but did you ever figure it out buddy? I could use the help myself now.
Pryodiablo - on the point of there being a similar case in English law? I’d guess you want Carlill v Carbollic Smoke Ball.
