NHS Biomedical Scientist Remote Interview (Help!)

I graduated in July with a First-Class honours and completed a placement year in the NHS where I trained in immunology. I have been unemployed for about 6/5 months - during this time I have been working as a Locum and keeping myself busy (e.g. learning to drive - I left it too leave as before I couldn't afford it).

Anyway, after getting rejections from left, right, and centre I finally got my first band 5 BMS interview. I don't want to mess this interview and I'm not sure what sort of questions will be asked of me hence I want to prepare as much as I can till my interview date. Also, this role is for a band 5 BMS position in the Blood Sciences laboratory, I will be working in both Biochemistry, haematology, and blood transfusion as this role requires me to become a multidisciplinary team member.

Thank you!!
*also, sorry if this post is in the wrong place, it's been a while since I been on here!

I am not in your field but what you could use in the mean time is the job description at NHS jobs.

Do you understand what it entails? In general.

What are the current challenges in your field ? Are you aware of any literature ? Think about your dissertation, was it a contemporary issue?

What are your values in work? Have you got a code of conduct? Read it

Why is it important to work in the multidisciplinary team? How does your role fit into this? How does it link to what the NHS stands for?

What have you learned in the past 6 months being locum? What skills?

Then obviously perhaps know your lab values in case there is a clinical question.

Hopefully someone with expertise can add more or correct me if needed.

Use reed and YouTube too!

Anyways, good luck !
