How to afford to live while studying Biology and Medicine?

I'm applying to do a Biology degree for three years and then maybe going on to do Medicine for four. I was wondering how you afford a place to live etc. when studying for such a long time. Do you just live off student loans for seven years?
You mean graduate entry medicine? :colonhash:
Loans, scholarships and part-time jobs.

I live in NI so I only have two uni options, one only does graduate entry and unfortunately I do not meet the requirements to get into the other. So I feel like the undergrad Biology then graduate entry Medicine is my only option outside going to Britain :frown: But thank you for the advice!

For the uni's entry requirements I would have to resit some GCSEs as well as my A-Levels :frown: Plus I've already taken two gap years to work in between times- I know I'm still young but I'm trying to work out what the most time-efficient way is to go about it! But at the same time I don't want to take shortcuts...

But I'm already looking at uni requirements in Britain so I'll investigate more. Thanks for the advice, it's given me things to consider!
