Virtually all physiological systems operate using negative feedback mechanisms. As @snazzyg has said, the thyroid system is one. You’re absolutely right, temperature is maintained via negative feedback. The menstrual cycle, plasma osmolality, blood volume, blood pressure are all examples.
Negative feedback means that if there is too little, the body makes more; if there is too much, the body makes less.
