I’ve received an unconditional for Film and Television Practice at LSBU and I wanted to see if anyone on here is studying Film or another creative subject at LSBU and what your opinions are on the course?
I really like the location and the course sounds great but I’ve heard some negative reviews about this Uni from students on other courses so I was wondering what any Film students think of the Uni?
My other current applications (all Film):
Falmouth - Unconditional
Portsmouth - Conditional ABB
UWE Bristol - Submitted Portfolio, waiting for response

From my perspective, at this moment in time, out of your choices Falmouth is top and is my top choice for my film application. This is mainly because it is a CILECT certified course. Which means it is approved by industry standard companies which also means industry standard equipment. I’ve asked experienced film makers which unis I should pick and a common suggestion is, as a baseline, pick a CILECT certified courses. BUT that doesn’t mean your other uni choices aren’t a choice they still are very high quality but just not 100% industry standard guarantee, Falmouth apparently doesn’t have much of a night life haha.
