Annual salary of a teaching assistant BEFORE TAX?
Things will vary from each local council authority in UK as each pay there staff differently..... Best to look up this in your local council authority job website.

==================================
The average teaching assistant salary in the United Kingdom is £18,785 per year or £9.63 per hour. Entry level positions start at £15,783 per year while most experienced workers make up to £25,480 per year.

Remember most salaries are shown per annum, but usually TAs are only paid pro rata during term time so will be less
