Hi,

I am a final year Biomedical science student wanting to go into clinical research. I have applied to courses such as Translational Medicine and Translational Neuroscience (because neuroscience is something that interests me).

However, I have only made 3 Master's applications so far (UCL, Imperial and QMUL) and I know people sometimes apply to 8 courses. I cannot really live outside London which is why I'm only limited to unis in London and many of the Master's courses don't really interest me.

So main question: How many Master's applications is a good amount?

There's no real answer to that. Most people might make about 5, but if you've limited yourself to London, then you've cut your options to maybe 20% of the total possible.
