There is this question in october 2021 I'm not too sure about and I cant find the mark scheme
anyone can help :smile:

The formation of esters and the hydrolysis of esters are reactions that are slow under
normal laboratory conditions.
What speeds up these reactions?
Esterification Hydrolysis
A acids only acids only
B acids only acids and bases
C bases only bases only
D bases only acids and bases

i think its the first one... im not sure but usually to speed up a reaction for ester, acid is used.
