I’m currently at DM. I have an exam next week for unit 6 and for uni, they want me to get a DD. If I get a merit in the exam next week, could I still get a DD at the end of the year as my final grade?

My friends last year got distinctions for 3 units however on the marketing exam he got a Merit, overall he got a Distinction.
