I was hoping to do a question which sparked a bit more interest in me but then I read that you can't do XXX for the essay and then YYY for the course - also good luck to you!

Who else had entered the essay competition and what subject is your essay in ? I entered the 16-18 History option.

No, the fact that there's not many entrants on here and the fact that they said that some results will be out before the 1st of Feb is killing me - if I saw that the 10 scholarship places had already been given out, I'd be able to calm down...

I got 50% — the fact that it’s 2747 pounds even with the scholarship makes me wonder who’s paying 5000+ pounds for just a 2 week course ?? That’s a whole year’s tuition fees’ worth in some of the private schools where I live.
Anyways, I think they’re probably sending out the scholarships in order from lowest to highest (maybe they’re shortlisting essays) so if you haven’t got an email yet, that’s something to look forward to (maybe)
