“Extended Project

The Extended Project Qualification does not form part of our standard entrance requirements, but UCL recognises its value as preparation for independent study, which is key to university-level study.”

Has anyone been offered a lower entry requirement because of it however?

The link above made it clear they don't use it as part of their entry criteria therefore they are not going to make a lower offer because of it. The only situation UCL makes lower offers that I'm aware of is if you meet their criteria for a contextual offer.

Bath also gives a lower grade alternative offer with A in EPQ / B in Core Maths etc - ie. AAA or AAB plus A in EPQ, etc.
As above, it doesnt give you any advantage in getting an offer justt hat you have the flexibility of the standard offer plus the alternative offer.
