Teeth clicking!

I’m 15 and this has been going on for a month or so. So, a month or so ago, my left front tooth started popping or clicking out of place, when this occurred there was no pain what to ever, but after my dentist appointment, which was a regular cleaning (December the 22nd), I noticed that the popping and clicking have gotten worse! Now my left and right front teeth both pop and click out of place.

Basically, whenever my tongue touches or pushes on the back of my gum, where my front teeth are, I feel them push forward with a pop or click like sensation. This brings me no pain. Though, it has gotten worse to the point where if I swallow, smile or drink water they will pop/click! I’m scared that I will lose my teeth for I’m ONLY 15!

I went to see a Dentist yesterday, she took x-rays and told me that my teeth were fine. There was no “obvious cause” of why this was happening and she told me to see an orthodontist. But, turns out, she was just some type of therapist! So I don’t know if I can trust what she said or not...

The clicking and popping is truly diving me crazy to the point where I’m scared to drink water and I had to change the way I swallow. I find myself crying a lot over this and it’s causing me a lot of stress. I have thought about if I unconsciously grind/clench my teeth when I’m sleeping, but I have never woken up to any type of pressure or pain in the morning. (Though I do have frequent nightmares).

I don’t know when I will see the orthodontist but I’m scared that my two front teeth will fall out! When I push my tongue on them and put my nail on the front, I can feel them move more than the standard 1mm...

I did see a specialist in braces maybe, one or two years ago, and he said that I don’t need braces but I understand that teeth shift sometimes and it might have something to do with my bite but I have no idea what type of things can fix this? Braces? Crowns? Bridges? Do I need a recliner?

Please help me! What do I do? What does it mean? Will my teeth fall out?

What do you mean when you said that your dentist is just some therapist?
Are they a qualified dentist or not?
Are there any other dentists near you whose second opinion you could seek?
Have you booked your orthodontist appointment? If you go privately for a consultation, you can usually get one really quickly.
