I am currently studying in my first year of university, however, looking at withdrawing where I am now and beginning elsewhere in September. I am just wondering if anyone knows how long roughly it takes to be accepted as a transfer or if it depends on the university. The only times I have applied somewhere, I just await my results in August however, I will not receive any results this year, so will want to know sooner. I just don't want to leave where I am hoping I get in to the other, and then never do. Any advice??

Timescales are roughly the same as a normal UCAS application, although you may be asked to provide additional info about your current studies, (such as an interim transcript). On average, 7 weeks from the point that you submit the app, although maybe longer around this time of year.

The Transfer FAQ may answer some of your Q's about what to expect.
