to clarify my thoughts, can anyone plz tell me if the following are correct?
Meristem tissue
- Found in shoot tips and root tips
- Meristem tissue = meristematic zone
- Consists of stem cells which grow through cell division in meristematic zone
- Elongation zone lengthens newly-formed plant cells
- Maturation zone specialise stem cells through differentiation
