Basically ive not been sure about uni before even coming, and have been thinking of dropping out since october, november time. i went home for christmas and basically decided i should stay to the end of the first year to make sure i really dont like the course and to gain a CertHE. But after comin back for 2 dasy for a presentation i realise that i just cant do this anymore, and that i should just drop out now, forget the CertHE and gain a job and work experiance that will better help towards the apprenticeships that im looking to apply for. I also just got a bursery from the uni which i may lose if i leave now. basically really unsure on what is best to do and need some relatively unbiased advice. thanks

I would just drop out if you’re that unhappy. The CertHE might actually prevent you from gaining apprenticeships (in my experience) because if you apply for apprenticeships that you are overqualified for it becomes very hard to attain one.

You might want to ask a careers advisor or ask this question on the apprenticeships section of TSR as they may be able to give a more up to date answer than me! I am a bit unclear on the regulations regarding being overqualified for an apprenticeship.
