When lipids are hydrolysed by lipases do they form a monoglyceride and two fatty acids or glycerol and three fatty acids

ok, so which type of bond do you think the lipase going to hydrolysed? And how many of these are found in a typical lipid (triglyceride)?

it normally hydrolyses 3 ester bonds and forms glycerol and three fatty acids but for the formation of micelles we got taught that they aren't fully digested so the micelles can be formed properly with the phospholipids but some mark schemes say it produces three fatty acids and a glycerol and some say monoglyceride and two fatty acids

I guess it would depend on the context of the question. Are these mark schemes all from your exam board?
