So i’m 20 years old still living at home (in cornwall). i’ve just quit my job and have about £8k saved up and I really want to move to london before i go to uni. There are pros and cons and i’m struggling to weigh up if it is worth it or not cons would be expensive obviously, not sure about how to go about making friends when i don’t really know anyone there, would want a short let apartment as i would want to move to halls in september. Also how would i go about finding a job (i.e do you job hunt before moving or move first then get a job)pros would be i would finally have my own space, my boyfriend lives in london so i’ve been a fair few times (know the area somewhat well). I feel like moving somewhere else in cornwall would be pointless for just a few months, but moving to london would be like a fresh start for me.what do you think, is it worth it?

I don't really see a point in moving there for just a few months before moving into halls. Seems like a waste of money. I definitely wouldn't consider it to be worth it. But that's just me. Other people may have different opinions and I mean if you want to and you have the money for it then go for it.
