I speed past a police car parked on the other side of the road facing my direction.
I went 54-55 in a 50 km/hr zone. I realised I went over and slowed my speed but was speeding past a police car for around 5 seconds.
I live in Australia so don’t know if the laws are different and am on my red p’s which is why I can’t afford to lose my license for a small mistake !

In the UK, which I know has similar laws, if you speed past a police car/van that isn't labeled as a Camera, nothing usually happens. Obviously this is different from speedguns etc. However in the UK, if you are to be charged for this, the officer has to inform you then and there of the offence and has to issue the ticket themselves. This almost never happens as it would mean the police car would of either had to had a speed capture camera (and as I said those are labeled) or the officer has to start the car and chase you down lol. I honestly think you'll be fine
