Introduction should be the last thing to be written for a dissertation and that is because when writing various chapters in dissertation, you may come across something that you are not happy with and wish to edit or delete it. When writing introduction, you should basically write it out how you would for an essay: what the disso is about, the lit reviews etcc....
Methodology are the hardest chapters to write and should not be written in 1st person and should include what you carried out, how you carried out, its pros and cons and limitation and what would you do to make it better.

Write the intro at the end of the diss. There are so many research methods books find one for your subject and read the chapter on methodology - the approach for a diss in law is very different from the a diss in business studies for example.
