Hi everyone!

With the UCAS deadline on 26 January at 6PM approaching, I thought I'd stop by to see if anyone needs any help with a last minute submission, as we have loads of great resources for you to check out.

- Find a course
- Personal statement
- Accommodation
- Funding
- What happens next?

If you're still wondering if studying in Britain's Ocean City is right for you, then let me tell you why Plymouth is the place to be.

Student support is – and always has been – so important to us. Inclusiveness and wellbeing are also at the heart of our ethos and we consider your personal life equally as important as your academic life.

With the Student Hub and Careers Service on hand to help throughout your degree you're supported no matter what life throws at you. We also have a fantastic range of sports clubs and societies with the University of Plymouth Students' Union (UPSU) so you'll find friends for life in no time.

The University is recognised as an innovative leader in higher education for sustainability. (We've had too many accolades recently to list them all so here's just a few of my personal favourites!)

- We're proud to have been awarded our third Queen's Anniversary Prize for our groundbreaking research on microplastics in the ocean.

- We are ranked among world's top 25 - and 1st for marine research (Times Higher Education Impact Awards 2021)

- And we've also been ranked top 30 in the world for use of affordable and clean energy (Times Higher Education Impact Awards 2021).

- Not only this but Student Crowd (2021) have also voted us one of the top 20 best UK universities, top 20 best personal tutors, and top 10 best students union.

Plymouth is a place unlike anywhere else, nestled between the rugged beauty of Dartmoor and some of Britain's best beaches.

The vibrant waterfront and city centre are home to a wide range of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, while other attractions include theatres, museums, an aquarium and lido.

Our campus is based right in the heart of the city, which means you’re never too far away from the action and there is a real sense of community. Whether you’re after inner-city excitement, or outdoor adventures, Plymouth has it all!

Take a virtual tour from the comfort of your home.
