(sin [email protected])(cos [email protected])/2(tan [email protected]) = (1/4)(cos [email protected])(3sin [email protected] + cos [email protected])

find the values of @ in the domain:

-pi =< @ < pi*sqrt5

Anyone having done trig at P1 should technically be able to do this I think, but it is quite tricky.

[email protected]@[email protected] = ([email protected])([email protected] + [email protected])
[email protected]@[email protected]/[email protected] = ([email protected])([email protected] + [email protected])
.5([email protected])^2 = [email protected]@ + .25([email protected])^2
0 = [email protected]@ - .25([email protected])^2
0 = [email protected]@ - ([email protected])([email protected])
0 = [email protected][[email protected] - [email protected]]
[email protected] = 0 OR [email protected] - [email protected] = 0
[email protected] = 0 OR [email protected] = [email protected]
[email protected] = 0 OR [email protected] = (1/3)
Solve.
