Ear piercing

When I was 14 I got my top ear pierced. I asked for a “helix” but I now think they’ve done it wrong. My backing comes out of the side not the back and so I think it would be impossible to have a hoop. Are there any places that sell ones that would go in my piercing but not have a bulky backing that would come out the side , like maybe one that hooks round the back so it looks pierced from the back.

Hoops for nose piercings are made to be bent into shape, you could get one and try to bend it around to fit your ear? I’ve never had a helix so I’m not sure

Although I think this one might not be easier to move, you can find cheaper ones on eBay that might be easier to bend
