Is it cheaper to live in a studio or private accommodation?

Studio's are quite pricy as everything is inclusive but they are really cozy, i'm staying in one currently and i pay £200pw - private accommodation will definitely be cheaper but it honestly depends on your budget.

It depends on the location and accomodation providers.
Most studios are quite expensive because they include all bills and fast wifi.
Personally I would never consider living in studio accomodation.

Do you still get a feel of the campus life, what your social life like?

of course, i think generally those that live in studios already have a friendship group so they can socialise as they please but whilst also having privacy. my accommodation is a mixture of those from my uni and from another russell group uni so there is a diverse group of people but with my accom there is no socialising space so that can be a downside to a studio apartment. im pretty much near campus and theres alot of other accomodations on my street so you never feel that you're not a part of campus or uni. i've been at my studio for a while and i love it but the downsides are noisy ******* neighbours and people that smoke and the letting agents dont really do anything about it unless you nag them everyday which i am doing.
