I have my first ever CS interview in a few days. I've had a bunch of interviews for similar roles.
I've had a lot of other interview for similar roles with the usual questions of "Why do you want this role?", "Tell me about a time when you had to analyse something?", "How did you handle a discrepancy?", "How are your Excel skills?" etc. So I think I can handle most of what's going to be potentially thrown my way.
For the "Tell me about yourself" question, I usually just give a brief overview of my CV. How it all ties into the job I'm applying for. Like Tutor = team work/communicating and influencing. Or 1st office job = actual exp in data analysis. This has worked really well. Is there a format I should follow?
Any general advice? It's for an MOJ position.
