what do you wish someone told you before starting a levels?

I wish someone had told me: "Do Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics". I got A* A* A, but in Politics, Sociology and History. Now want to do a Chemistry degree so would be nice to have done those instead!

Just revise at least 1 hr a day
Two things:

1) take it easy. Yes, the jump from GCSE to A-level is different but it’s overhyped to be this insurmountable obstacle that nobody can pass. Yes, the jump is hard but take it easy and get used to the new environment; academic and social environment.
2) don’t have the GCSE mindset. GCSE and A-levels are different.

Same here man, not studying maths has really limited my options

don't cheat for mocks because then they aren't mocks - I didn't and I don't necessarily think you will but I see a lot of people on here asking for locked papers... :colonhash:
