Which other university will likely benefit from your presence:
Will you reapply next year?:

Afraid not - I've been asking people the same. :/ Best of luck though!

Rejected from Newnham for Philosophy

State school gap year (so no grade inflation like the other schools lol) A*A*A

No idea where I'll go but also applied to Bristol, UCL, Edinburgh and St Andrews.

Won't reapply as it seems I'd need another A* to be considered, though will be interested to see how all these predicted A*A*A*A*a* grades pan out. Feel now I'll be lucky to get a place in clearing with a mere A*A*A, and waiting for the other offers is depressing:frown:
1) Peterhouse
2) HSPS
3) GCSEs: 9999877777
A Level Predicted: A*A*A* in RS, History and Politics, and A* in EPQ.
4) I have an offer from KCL for Politics so maybe there, but probably UCL if they accept me but I haven't heard back yet
5) Maybee

My qualifications are international
I've only got an offer from Bristol so far
Yes, I intend to reapply because I feel strongly that I haven't made my best during the admissions process

1. Jesus
2. English
3. Predicted A*A*A* at A-Level, 10 9s and 1 8 at GCSE. 49 ELAT. Edit: lol I forgot that I did an AS (got an A).
4. I have an offer from St Andrews! Thrilled with that.
5. Definitely not, Cambridge is not the be-all and end-all. The system is based heavily on luck, and there are many applicants who don’t get in and could have thrived there. I literally have a friend who has four A*s predicted, did Computer Science A-Level and got an A* in a year, Arkwright Scholarship, etc. but was rejected before interview. She is such a hardworking, intelligent icon who will thrive at a different uni!

Posting here just to demonstrate that Cambridge does not define you. If you applied, you are likely very intelligent, and you don’t need a uni to tell you that.
