It’s been a few years since I was in education so last year I decided to go to university. I’ve noticed my writing skills could be better

Any tips?

Thanks 🙂

Grammarly is free for some features and can be used on the web, desktop, iPhone, iPad and Android too.

It's all practice. Some have mentioned Grammarly. This is fine, but, responding to critical feedback on your writing style is going to be the best bet. A good starting point would be to google some of the tenets of good writing. Short sentences, active tone etc. These will all help

Talk to your university. There should be academic support staff there whose job it is to advise students on their academic writing. Look up what student support services your uni offers. Check out your uni library for books about writing skills - they might also have some e-books.
