as the title suggests, do i?
im asking this because I wanna study degrees eg. econ with geography, eco with global sustainable development at Warwick etc but idk if it could aid me to be an urban planner.

urban planning as a degree is too specialised and I thought if I do like econ w geog it could give me more options and career paths just in case if I don't ended up wanting to be an urban planner

my friend is wanting to do urban planning and she's starting off with a normal geography degree and planning to do a postgraduate in urban planning, which I guess is in case she changes her mind she has many more options with a geography degree than an urban planning degree, hope this helps

Go look at some adverts for urban planning jobs. What are the requirements? If they require an urban planning degree then that's what you need. If not then you don't.

(I know one urban planner and she has a geography degree, but she's in the US so it may not be relevant.)
