Hello , I am transferring to MMU in 2022 Sept intake. I am wishing to get new friends there as I love socializing. I will study tourism management there as a final year student. You'll make lots of friends on your course dw, I repeated a year in uni so I joined Sept intake with an entirely new cohort and they were all really lovely and welcoming - there will probably also be other new people starting too, just put up your newbie flag, make people aware you're keen to hang out and you'll be good. Hi!

Hopefully, you will find some students to connect with on here! But don't worry you will still make lots of friends on your course when you start in September even as a final year student! Some students may be in similar positions to yourself or have had a study abroad year or suspended their studies! I would try and get involved with as much as you can, you will meet plenty of people on your course and you may be interested in joining some societies to meet some other new people and create other socialising opportunities by meeting new people that way!

I know it is difficult but try not to worry too much. We have a great support available here at MMU to support you with anything you may need whilst studying with us. Good luck with everything!
