Hi, I'm applying for a master's next year at the University of Southampton but have no idea where to start with finding a place to live.
I'm a little nervous about finding a shared house as I don't want to be with undergraduates and I won't know what the people I am living with will be like.
Can anyone give any advice on whether it's best as a postgraduate to live in university halls or a shared house?
Thanks

Would a single tenancy in Purpose Built Student Accommodation (e.g. Unite Students and the like) be more suitable? You would likely share kitchen facilities, but would have your own room and a bit more separation
