is it important to know what field/area of law i want to go into (corporate, criminal, banking etc). when i applied for university i just applied for law not a specific field.

Nope definitely not! I’m doing my LPC and starting a training contract next year and still have no idea exactly what I want to do. Uni is such a great time to do different subjects and learn what you like and dislike
