DVLA and mental health

So, my mental health has been unstable to a level where I would be required to notify the DVLA. However, while I have a full licence I don't drive or have a car, and have no intention of driving at all. I mainly use my licence for ID purposes.

Do I still need to notify the DVLA if I'm not going to drive?

Yes I think so. Just because you don't have a car or drive at the moment doesn't mean you won't in the future and if it's at the point where the DVLA should be notified, you need to notify them. I hope you're receiving help for your mental health, I'm sorry that you're struggling.
Yes, you need to notify them if your circumstances change, regardless of whether you are actively driving or not.
