If you study in a university, you can go to a dyslexia and disability support service or centre or something like that if your university have one and ask for options to get a diagnosis there. My university first gives an online questionnaire about dyslexia, adhd etc and then if your results show that you may have a diagnosis you may book an appointment with an external specialist to confirm the diagnosis. University give their contacts. My uni covers some but not all expenses for an appointment with an external assessor. So it may not be totally free. I just share experience from my uni, I'm not sure that such support is offered in all institutions. But university may provide some advice or support

What makes you think you have this condition, of all things?

Go to your GP. They are the expert and they will know more.

I bet they don't. They're slightly struggling rn and need something to blame it on. I've had it all my life and I thought life was just difficult for everyone until I got my diagnosis.

Why are you assuming they don't? I found out I had it when I was struggling. I always thought I was completely normal. Afterwards I realized how it's been ruining my life all along.

This thread is not about your struggles - if you want sympathy, make you own thread and stop posting unhelpful comments in other people's.

OP, you should speak to your GP in the first instance and they can then refer you to the appropriate service if they feel ADHD is a possibility, and they can also sign-point you in the right direction for self-help resources or talking therapies etc. that may help (regardless of what the underlying issue causing your difficulties might be). If you are at school, it may be worth raising this with your teachers as well as if they have similar concerns to you, they can refer you to CAMHS directly as well. Good luck.
