Is it normal for all your chest bones to poke out? Or am I a bit too skinny?

I’m currently just on the borderline of being underweight for my
height (like if I lost 2 more kg) I did used to be quite underweight a few years ago (like a bmi of 16.5) for like a year but haven’t been underweight in many years. But for some reason my chest bones (I believe these are my upper ribs) seem to poke out quite visibly, all of the bones on my back also do (even when I’m a few kg heavier they also do though) as well as my hip bones, whenever i wear a dress or a thin skirt you can see my hip bones poke out. Does this mean I am too thin or is this just how my body is built or something? Even when I’ve been overweight in the past I also always have really bony skinny wrists, so perhaps i am just a bony person, I mean currently i’m not actually underweight, my bmi is like 18.5 or something. I mean I do want to remain slim but I don’t really want to look emaciated either, though I don’t feel I do and no one ever says that I do.
