Most of the grooming gangs that we see in the news are of Pakistani heritage. Although you will see other groups like Afghans and Somalis involved, it's very rare to see Indian Hindus and Sikhs involved in street grooming.

People often say Pakistani Punjabis and Indian Punjabis are culturally similar, if that were you case why are Indian Punjabis not involved in said grooming?

What is the difference between the two groups that leads one to groom at disproportionate force? Is it cultural, socio-economic or religious?

Religion.
Do you think the groomers are religiously motivated? From the news stories many drank alcohol and stuff which is forbidden in Islam afaik. Although I'm not Muslim.

Murpuri tribalism, family tradition, criminal gang culture and recidivism. :stomp:
That's the thing though, I see some Pakistanis trying to throw the blame onto "Mirpuris", however many Pakistani Punjabis themselves are involved in grooming when you properly research into the grooming gangs. Maybe they see the Mirpuri community as a scapegoat for problems they also have themselves. I don't know. What I do know is they're different from Sikh Punjabis.

The ringleader of the grooming gangs in Rochdale was a Pakistani Punjabi from Gujrat in Punjab. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co...ights-10903124

Another Pakistani Punjabi Rochdale grooming gang member was deported to Faislabad. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...xtradited.html

The Oxford grooming gangs were Pakistani Punjabis too as most Pakistanis who live there are Punjabis you see Jatt surnames such as "Dogar" which is humiliating for Sikhs as we also use that Jatt clan name.
https://www.theguardian.com/uk/2013/...grooming-girls

Another incident of a Pakistani Punjabi in Bradford. This was embarrassing for Sikhs as they had the same surnames as Sikh Jatt clans such as "Virk". I know they're not Mirpuris because those names are used in Central Pakistani Punjab. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...passenger.html

Pakistani Punjabi rapper "Frenzo Harami" takes pride in pimping white women https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iLweKTxbIwU

I've seen numerous social media posts from Pakistani Punjabis taking pride in grooming girls from my community, the Sikh community. This guy constantly refers to Sikh women as sl*ts. Check out this vulgarity https://www.tiktok.com/@rated_gabru

It's mostly the same old criminal lowlife families of the azad province and their closest affiliates during the late 40s-mid 50s era.
Do bear in mind that more than 60% of the pakistani nationals in england & the netherlands are murpuris.
Although many pretend not to be or wear turbans and gold bracelets seeking to be mistaken for practicing sikhs from india.
Italy has a massive problem with groomer pimps targeting teenage girls & women in their early 20s, mostly due to organised crime gangs that are eastern european and russian.

My point is, the grooming is widespread among all Pakistanis not just the people from Mirpur. Many Pakistani Punjabis are also involved. This is why I would prefer it if people knew we Sikhs are different from Muslim Pakistani Punjabis. I also think it's important to raise awareness around this issue so my fellow Sikhs are safe out there.

You might not have heard of many Indian gangs in the west, but there are plenty of rape and sexual assault cases that occur every day in India. Some of these atrocities are committed by gangs. You must have heard of the famous 2012 gang rape in Delhi for instance. Also, it’s not religion that’s the issue( if that were the case then every brown person / Muslim would be doing it) but it has EVERYTHING to do with these people being uneducated and sexually repressed.

And before anyone accuses me of being a racist or biased towards either side, I am half Indian and half Pakistani myself.

We are talking about the UK here not South Asia.

Plenty of rapes occur in Pakistan too.

Didn't Pakistani Punjabis gang rape a lady in front of her children? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-54186609

Another instance of gang rape in Lahore: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...s-funeral.html

Lol. You can’t talk about an issue that involves South Asians in the UK without talking about South Asia, esp when said issue is rooted in an rigid cultural mindset that originates from South Asia, not the UK. You have to see the full picture. The South Asians in question are bringing their backward thinking to the UK from South Asia, so you have to look at the countries of their origin to understand where all this is coming from, what its roots are etc. If you’re unwilling to do that then why bother creating this thread?

I never said anything about Pakistan, all I said was this gang mentality and rape culture is not limited to Pakistan as you wrongly seem to believe.

Why aren't there any Indian/Punjabi Sikh grooming gangs like there are Pakistani Punjabi grooming gangs? Here is another Pakistani Punjabi mocking Sikh grooming victims, his videos have been liked by thousands of Pakistanis. https://www.tiktok.com/@datpakistanipunjabi

Yet the articles posted by OP say otherwise, did you even read them ? The ringleaders of the grooming gangs from Rochdale, Oxford and Huddersfield were all Pakistani punjabis

Shabir Ahmed the leader of Rochdale grooming gang was born in Gujrat, Pakistan and the groomers from Huddersfield were all from Faisalabad another city in the punjab province of Pakistan it’s clear to see this is a huge problem within the your community and the perpetrators of such crimes are from all over Pakistan. The fact that Heera Mandi still exists in Lahore is abhorrent

Have a read of this it’s about a young boy from Kasur, in the Pakistani province of Punjab who was kidnapped, raped and then murdered
