I'm in the same position as you and tbh I think it's down to how much you are willing to put in to achieve those grades
but at the same time not everyone will be able to get a 9 no matter how much they try imo
definitely put in effort but don't overwork yourself, and go in steps, so aim for an 8 first then a 9
and making sure you know the content and the exam papers in and out will help too

I have just finished my mocks and i've been getting 6s and 7s. I am 100% planning on working a lot harder to get to 8s and 9s. Do you think that it is actually possible to improve my grade from a 6 to a 9? Or does that sound unrealistic?
It's possible but it's not likely. You could probably push up those 7s to 8s, though.
