AQA alevel tudors

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the exam board would ever ask a question specifically on religion, humanism or arts for Henry VII rule. I understand it’s in the spec but is it just to contrast to Henry VIII or would this genuinely be asked in the exam ?

Hi all,

It’s highly unlikely that they will ask about religion, humanism or arts in Henry VII’s reign (my Tudor history teacher told me this anyway) because there’s so little to say about it. However, it’s worth preparing a little for it as there is a chance it’ll come up because it’s on the spec. I thought there was the best amount of info on this in the Cambridge AQA Tudors revision guide by Hannah Dalton so perhaps that would help you too! (It’s generally the best Tudors revision guide I’ve used anyway).

So basically, it probably won’t come up alone but it could and you should prepare for the possibility. Nevertheless for revision I would focus more on the contrast with H VIII
