Has anyone tried Enable? for an access course?

I've been looking online for access courses to do online, and it seems that 'enable' is the only one that offers it covered by the advanced learner loan. Which basically makes it free.

has anyone used them? it seems legit but would like to see a review

can anyone help? I cannot find any reviews
I’m pretty sure they are only offering the loan for you to pay for the course, not the course itself. It says ‘Before applying you will need to ensure you have a Learning and Funding Information Letter from the provider you will be studying at.’ So you would need to find a provider for the access course you want to complete e.g. at college and they would take out a loan for you. That is what I can tell from the website.

Not sure if this course will be free with the government scheme... But I've nearly finished my online access with them and it's been brilliant.

I am mid-way through completing an Access to HE course with Enable and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I've done an Access course before with a private provider (Stonebridge) and it was really hands-off and a bit overwhelming. With Enable you can apply through Student Finance for an Advanced Learner Loan, which covers the cost of the course, and the tutoring is much more hands-on and personal. I hope this helps!

Thanks so much for the reply! just what i was looking for.

How did you find the UCAS application process with enable?
As in, the application to university during the course? I was well supported, and there was plenty of time and support to get my personal statement right. I handed in drafts and my tutor gave me pointers on where I could improve, and we did that a few times before I was happy with the final draft which I attached to my application. Once I sent the application off, everything was handled by them in terms of references. I hope that's the answer you were looking for!
