for me it was 4 weeks of classroom training (the first week was inductions into the course etc) then you learn how to use the system and what info you need to get. next was 8 weeks of coaching at the centre where you take live calls with the help of a coach. my final part was the help desk but i know this part has changed a bit since i did my training the help desk was basically an integration onto team, meaning you basically left to deal with calls by yourself but there was a coach/supervisor on the same desk to help if you needed it.
once you are on team at the end of it all your left to deal with calls yourself but you can go and find a supervisor if you do need some help

yeah relatively, its a lot of info but the more you do it the easier it gets

yeah but it can get extended depending on certain factors like too much period of sickness poor performance etc and they review it like every 3 months if it does get extended for whatever reason. sometimes the periods of sickness is beyond your control so they will take that into account if something like that comes up

Thank you for all the information. I got an email this morning after hearing nothing for 2 months stating Your Vetting Application is currently being processed. How long after receiving this email did you get a start date.

On my unconditional offer it said there’s a pass and fail course? How was the course for you?

yeah so thats during the first 4 weeks and then again during coaching, it wasn't too bad

in a sense theres like a multiple choice test and then a practical comprehension test

I mean right at the start when you finished your vetting before starting. I just got an email saying my vetting is being processed. How long after did you get a start date for the job.

my vetting took 4 months to hear back from for context, I think my vetting started in like the start of December got my provisional offer in Jan then radio silence until April

Does taking calls get better like at the start of coaching you struggle and then it naturally gets better because every call is different?
