Oh dear - I've had to show mine several times when changing jobs. Why would you dispose of them?
Along with other important documents in a safe place.
My Mum has them :iiam: or maybe i have them :hmmmm:
Ironically when my Mum was going through my Nan's stuff she found my Uncle's degree certificate which was buried in a box somewhere

I have all my certificates from primary till now in a very thick folder. GCSEs and A-levels are in a distinguishable part of it. I keep it in a safe cupboard

I have got an entire file for that.
In a box folder with all my other important personal admin documents.
scanned and saved on my laptop + my mom has the actual copies 😂
In my National Record of Achievement (that's a folder to anybody not a million years old), under my computer desk.

My daughter has hers in a folder under her bed.

"Record of achievement" is a term I haven't heard in a very long time, wow I feel old
Honestly I never picked mine up. I hated my school by the time I left and was too anxious to go back to collect them. I have my statement of results which has been fine. If I ever need my certificates, I'll apply to get replacements, but I've not needed to in the 10 years since I left secondary school

Edit: I've just googled it out of curiosity and according to the Gov UK website, you can't get replacement certificates, only certified statement of results. So I'm all good

FYI for anyone who is fresh out of fire proof safes, an empty biscuit tin is also a smart choice for important documents at risk in a fire. :yy:
On my shelf. This is one of these things where you're lying in bed at uni and then panic thinking about where your certificate in the house 50 miles away is.
Locked drawers full of important documents.
