Where do you keep your GCSE certificates?

In a folder on a shelf somewhere.

Honestly I never picked mine up. I hated my school by the time I left and was too anxious to go back to collect them. I have my statement of results which has been fine. If I ever need my certificates, I'll apply to get replacements, but I've not needed to in the 10 years since I left secondary school

Edit: I've just googled it out of curiosity and according to the Gov UK website, you can't get replacement certificates, only certified statement of results. So I'm all good

Why don't you see if your old school still has them? I've had to show my original certifcates a number of times.
In a massive bag at home.

Oh dear - I've had to show mine several times when changing jobs. Why would you dispose of them?

Different employers different policies
maybe mine were on the assumption if got a degree must have done pretty well to get that far. my a-levels and gcses weren't anything to boast about so it never went on any job app or CV (after graduating)

I doubt they'll have them, I left school in 2012. I contacted them before and they sent me the statement of my results.

We have them back to 1960s!

I'll try and chase them again then! I always assumed they would've gotten rid of them after a certain length of time?

well if i get asked for them one day its sure will be a pain
I keep a spare copy in a folder.
I keep all my certificate in my folder
We have a filing cabinet we got from Freecycle and there's a "certificates" section in that which all the family's certificates are in. (Ones which might ever be needed to prove a qualification. It doesn't have things like school awards or sports prizes - those are in the same boxes as things like schoolwork which we kept.)
I’ve kept mine in a ring folder. Id put them in plastic wallets and then put them in the folder. I even have certificates for the work experience I’ve done and student of the year award from year 12.
I’ve kept my foundation diploma for the BTEC I’m doing currently.
