Would Cambridge consider me with the following A-Level subjects?

I am in year 13, anticipating the following grades:

English - A*
Music - A*
Music Technology - A

I have my heart set on studying English at Cambridge, following a gap-year. I understand, however, that my A-Level subjects are not ‘perfect’ in compatibility for the degree. Music is very academic, yes - but Music Technology is mostly practical, and not very essay-heavy. Cambridge may also see the two subjects as ‘overlapping’.

My question is: would Cambridge treat my application in high-enough regard? Nowhere online does Cambridge specifically ask for applications without Music Technology, but it does advise a wide variety of subjects. I feel defeated, and a little heartbroken; I was sure my application would be viewed in equal regard to competing peers, but now I’m starting to doubt my choices.

Does anybody have any experience in something similar? I.e, picking both art and fine art, or theatre studies and drama, whilst applying for Oxbridge?

Any advice would be hugely appreciated. I am even considering taking an additional A-Level in my gap year.

Thanks.
You should contact the admissions office - they should be able to tell you if your A levels would be acceptable. Out of curiosity, what appeals to you more about English than music?

Did you take English Literature, English Language, or the combined option?

Here is what Trinity says: https://www.trin.cam.ac.uk/undergraduate/applying/a-level-subject-combinations/

PDF on subjects: https://www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/files/publications/the_subject_matters.pdf

Traditionally, Music Technology was only allowed as a fourth subject, before the A-Level reforms: https://www.studentladder.co.uk/year-12/preferred-subjects/

I think you need to speak to them, as not even Music accepts Music Technology as an entry requirement, unless it is supplemental, although it can be taken as one of their three A-Levels: https://www.mus.cam.ac.uk/applicants/undergraduate/faq
