Help with choosing GCSE options

Hi, I’m currently a 14 year old in year 9 going into year 10 in September and I’m looking for GCSE options to take. Iv recently started home educating an Iv been struggling to find GCSE options. I’m currently doing Maths , English and biology but I was wondering if there were any easy GCSEs I could have a look at doing which is possible with home education. Thankyou!

PRE is piss easy for edexcel, if you want to do a science degree you'll need at least double or triple science, if you get the CGP books you can self teach chemistry and physics.

Are you doing both english'es? ( dunno how to word that ) - lang and lit? Some unis require specific ones.

I'd recommend edexcel as an exam board in general, it's fairly easy imho.

MFLs are a bad idea unless you have a parent that speaks it, and even then it's hard. Art really needs a school, DT needs a school, IT is much easier with a school, so is Drama. Stay away from the arts basically.

Id possibly do all 3 sciences (or a gcse that covers all 3) rather than just biology, if thats possible.
A language may be useful.
How about hostory or geography?
Sociology is also easy.

From a sixth form student perspective only pick a BTEC if you prefer to do coursework than exams.
I'd do geography or business as they were ridiculously easy as soon as youve learnt the exam technique

Personally i would also say don 't do sociology because it was very hard for me but we all have different experience with subjects.

Yeah citizenship was great! For OCR, one of the three exams was completely multiple choice, lots of the other questions are common sense based, and you have to write an essay on a 'citizens action project' that you can just make up lol.
