I actually prefer this to last year when I was waiting for my GCSE results - having 2 months off to dwell over it was just torture! Right now I am too busy with other work to be particularly worried about what I got in my exams!

I can't stop thinking about what I got in my January exams and I don't think I will until results day. I'm even thinking more about it than I did with my GCSE's, although I think that's because this time I'm putting in more effort and the results are more important than GCSE's.

Wait until you get to August and are waiting for your final A level results. Its awful knowing that your whole future rests on one piece of paper (unless you are one of these people who has a cert. place at uni!) lol!

Your school get it a day early electronically, but it's not until the next day that the results slips arrive (which is when you'll probably receive the results), just like the summer results days.

in my country, the year 12 results that is taken by the uni's,gets online a day before,so that you put in your candidate number and you get your mark  I think edexcel should do that lets say errm 2months before the results ??!!:p:
