Studyinf and Lack Of Motivation

Hi everyone. I want to study but sometimes even the idea of it makes me overwhelmed. Even if I study, it's usually lasts for a day or two and then I got extremely bored. But I have to get disciplined and motivated to be successful. Can you share some tips on studying and how to become more disciplined? How do you deal with lack of motivation? Thanks in advance.

I honestly understand this so much, while I haven't overcome it yet, I know what triggers my slumps. Is there a moment or a certain subject that immediately makes you lose motivation? For me personally, if I spent like 15 minutes on one math question, I get frustrated then I'll stop studying for the day because I'm tired.

My number one advice, always change what you're studying whether its in 25 minute or 1 hour blocks depending on your focus. Another thing that helps is making a schedule or a study planner and while you might feel guilty when you don't follow it sometimes, when you comeback from a slump, you can get back to studying easily but don't overwork yourself during your good days.

Hope your studying goes well and there are plenty of people to talk to on here who have been through the same thing.

Yes! I have this problem, too. When I don't understand a subject or a question, it immediately drains my energy and I givd up.

You're right.Creating and following a plan will be useful for me. And maybe I can try the Pomodoro Technique.

Thank you so much for your advice. I hope your studying and everything else goes well, too. 😊
