Hey! yeah it is probably also bc my school has stupidly good results so it's fair of them to ask me that, I shouldn't really be complaining as much as I am lol. But for your question, I actually got pooled there. I hadn't realised that some colleges give higher offers until it happened to me!

Any college can give a higher offer than the standard (most do in at least some cases), and all colleges will usually give the standard offer.

Ahhh I see fair enough, I knew Christs gave higher offers so avoided there but not any others. I hope you get it!!
Hello! Did anyone else get the reading list for Gonville and Caius medicine? If so are you just planning to view documents online or are any other accesses needed? Thanks!
Does Cambridge have our grades yet? Something personal out of my control happened in one exam week where I had three exams, I have applied for special consideration but is it worth contacting Cambridge to explain in case I miss the grades? Is there a chance they’ll be more lenient with me?

Also - if two students both miss their offer and they have enough space for only one of them, how do they decide which one to take? The reason I’m asking is in the Cambridge entrance exam (ELAT) I didn’t get extra time when I should have done, so my score wasn’t as good as it could have been. I didn’t do anything about it because I got an offer anyway. But now I think I might miss the grades, should I tell them this as well so they know my ELAT score wasn’t a reflection of my true ability?

I can't answer your question but curious about special consideration. I, too, applied for it (missed exam due to Covid) but have not yet found if it has been granted. Do we have to wait until results day to find out? Hoping someone in the know can weigh in. Thanks

My college emailed to confirm that they’ll receive our results at 14:00 tomorrow. They can’t discuss individual situations until the 18th, though, so I don’t think they will reply during the embargo period. I would still email to register your situation with them as they’ll be able to take it into account in the days leading up to the 18th.
Guys, hope you all doing well!

I applied to Hughes Hall and met my conditions, but I still haven't got any updates from UCAS. Anyone facing the same situation here? Thankssss

Thanks for your reply! They sent me an email and helped me update my application status yesterday, so everything is fine now.
